Grayslake Bike Share Program Is Cruising
Bright orange bikes are available to rent at five different locations across town.
GRAYSLAKE, IL — The first-ever bike share program in Lake County is officially up and running in Grayslake.
The two-year pilot program in the works since 2017 has officially launched, village officials announced on Facebook. As part of the program, bike rentals will be available at various locations throughout Grayslake to rent for a cost of $3 for the first hour and $1 for each additional hour.

The orange bikes can be found at the following locations:
- Village Center: Parking lot on Whitney Street at Hawley Street
- Central Park, 250 Library Lane
- Mill Creek Park, Atkinson Road and Washington Street
- College of Lake County, 19351 W. Washington Street
- Washington Street Metra Station
The Grayslake Area Public Library District, village of Grayslake, Grayslake Community Park District, College of Lake County, Grayslake resident Mary Klees and Koloni, Inc., partnered to make the Grayslake Bike Share a reality.
