Grayslake Heroes: Help Recognize Those Making A Difference
We all know someone who's made a different in the past year that we've been dealing with COVID-19. Let's give them a shout-out.

GRAYSLAKE, IL — We have been living for one year in this "new normal." And while the years has been marred by grief, sickness and loss, there have been plenty of examples of people who have helped us get through these trying times.
From the doctors who have saved lives to the nurses who have held the hands of those who are sick, there's been so many examples of people who have stepped up during this pandemic to give back and help those in need. Other examples include neighbors who have offered to get groceries for the immune-compromised, family members who've set up drive-by birthday parties and caring teachers who have gone above and beyond to adapt, and keep kids attention, over Zoom.
We want to hear about the "heroes" who have made this last year better and more bearable. Who have put a smile on your face or lent a hand when you, or someone else, really needed it.
