Grayslake North senior Kendall Buchman recently signed her letter of intent to play volleyball for the University of Missouri-St. Louis.

Head volleyball coach Ryan Young said he is excited to bring Buchman, of Grayslake, on to his team starting in the 2016-17 season.

“Kendall is a very smart and dynamic setter. She is a very good athlete with great tempo and pace on her sets that will translate well to the college game. Having seen her compete in club ball I could tell she is a very fiery player with a lot of passion that we look for in student-athletes,” Young said. “Even though she set and hit in high school, we will just be using her as a setter, but it’s good to know that she has experience as an attacker so she can relate well with our other attackers on our team.”
