Grayslake Weekend Weather: Calm, Snow Expected

GRAYSLAKE, IL — We can expect mostly calm weather this weekend, save for some patchy fog, rain and snow. Friday, we may see flurries in the afternoon lasting throughout the evening.

Friday night's low temperature of 26 will give way to Saturday's high of 40, when it is expected to be mostly clear. Fog will roll in after midnight.

Sunday morning fog will subside around 8 a.m., the National Weather Service says, and the high temperature will be around 40. There's a 40 percent chance of rain, which is expected to mix with snow in the evening.

Scattered flurries after 3pm. Cloudy, with a high near 28. West wind 10 to 15 mph, with gusts as high as 25 mph.

Tonight:
A chance of flurries before midnight. Cloudy, with a low around 26. Southwest wind around 5 mph.

Partly sunny, with a high near 40. South wind around 5 mph.

Saturday Night:
Patchy fog after midnight. Otherwise, partly cloudy, with a low around 26. East southeast wind around 5 mph becoming calm in the evening.

Sunday:
A 40 percent chance of rain after noon. Patchy fog before 8am. Otherwise, mostly cloudy, with a high near 39. East southeast wind around 5 mph becoming west southwest in the afternoon.

Sunday Night:
Mostly cloudy, with a low around 33.
