Grayslake's Free Summer Concert Series Kicks Off June 24

Guests are encouraged to bring a chair or blanket to Centennial Plaza, order food from a Grayslake restaurant and then enjoy the music.

GRAYSLAKE, IL — With the warmer temperatures upon us, get ready to shake a rug and enjoy some good music and food with friends in Grayslake next week. The Grayslake Heritage Center and Museum will kick off its free summer concert series starting Thursday, June 24.

To get things started, Earthmother, a jam band influenced by music of the 1960s and 1970s, will perform at 7 p.m. on that date.

  • July 1: Chapin Jazz Studio Student Showcase

  • Aug. 12: Mr. Myers Band

Guests are encouraged to bring a chair or blanket to Centennial Plaza at 201 Center St., order food from a Grayslake restaurant and then enjoy the entertainment.

Current Illinois and CDC COVID guidelines will be followed. Per Illinois Phase 5, there is no capacity limit and masks are not required, according to organizers.

Capacity, however, is limited, organizers said. To ensure that a spot is available, tickets can be reserved here.

The summer concert series sponsors are First Draft Grayslake, Nano Engdahl at Baird & Warner and R.J. Galla Company Inc.
