ISCC Recognizes College Of Lake County Women's Volleyball Team
The team was recognized for its 2021 spring season by the Illinois Skyway Collegiate Conference and the NJCAA Reigon IV Committee.
College of Lake County Women's Volleyball team members were recognized for their success during the 2021 spring season by the Illinois Skyway Collegiate Conference (ISCC) and the NJCAA Region IV Volleyball Committee. A duo of sophomores, one from Grand County High School (Utah) and the other from Warren Township High School headed up the Lancers' contingent of honorees. Outside hitter Corteney Noyes was named All Region IV and first team All-Illinois Skyway Collegiate Conference (ISCC), while sophomore middle hitter, Emma Fitzgibbons, and freshman setter Lindsey Diep were each named 2nd team All-ISCC.
This was the 2nd consecutive year Noyes was named to the All-Region IV team, All-ISCC First Team selection and was chosen to the Region IV All-Tournament team. The 5'11" sophomore booked 149 digs to lead the Lancers. Noyes also led the Lancers squad with 111 kills while tallying 148.5 pts on the season.

Fitzgibbons was named to the All-ISCC Second Team. She led the Lancers with 34 blocks averaging 0.94 per match that ranked her 44th nationally. Fitzgibbons also registered 60 kills while scoring 94.5 points on the season.
Diep, a graduate from Grayslake North High School was selected to the All-ISCC Second Team. Diep was the Lancer's main setter, where she registered 239 assists. Diep also booked 12 serving aces and 118 digs on the season.

The Lancers finished a difficult season 0-12 which included a coaching change mid-season with new Head Coach Julie Filippo taking over the reigns in late January. Filippo's squad competed hard all season wrapping up the season with a first round loss in the Region IV tournament to Sauk Valley.
