Lake Co. Sheriff's Office Seeks Best Lights Displays

LAKE COUNTY, IL — Amidst the crime and mayhem, the Lake County Sheriff's Office is taking a break, at least on its Facebook page, to enjoy and share the holiday spirit. This year, the sheriff's office has been sharing photos of awesome Christmas lights display from across the county.
The sheriff's office is asking Facebook followers to send them photos, which they then post to the sheriff's office Facebook page.
"During the month of December, you can message us a picture of your outdoor holiday lights (with your town) and we will post them on our page to see which picture gets the best response by the end of the month," according to a post on the Lake County Sheriff's Office Facebook page.
