Lake County Coronavirus Testing: Where To Go In April

Mobile testing will be offered at during four events throughout the month.

LAKE COUNTY, IL — Mobile coronavirus testing will be available four times in the coming months across Lake County between Thursday and April 16.

In a public notice, the county's health department announced free testing will be offered in Mundelein and Highland Park.

Testing is free and open to everyone, even those without symptoms, the county announced. Those who arrive to be tested must provide a name and phone number. When applicable, residents are also encouraged to provide photo identification and proof of insurance.

On Thursday, testing will be offered at

  • Mundelein Metra Station
    • April 8, 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.
    • April 15, 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.
  • Highland Park Metra Station
    • April 9, 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.
    • April 16, 8 a.m. – 4 p.m.

State-run testing sites are also available on Monday, Wednesday, Friday from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. at 102 W. Water St. in Waukegan and 2000 W Euclid Avenue in Arlington Heights. Testing at these sites is free.

Those who arrive to be tested should wear a mask, maintain social distance and wash their hands.
