Southern Hills: No tag

A young male Chihuahua was found in the Southern Hills Neighborhood along Midlane Country Club Thursday night. The Facebook user said the dog had a collar, but no tags, and was "Completely freaked out by the fireworks," so they took him home. They said they'll see if they can find a place to check if the dog has a chip.
Libertyville area

A black cat with white paws and a white underbelly was found Thursday in the Libertyville area. PM or text 224-410-9650 if you are the owner or know the owner.
Palatine

This dog was found on Hale and Gilbert in Palatine Thursday, wearing a yellow bandage. No chip, so please contact Terri Klowden if you are the owner or know the owner.
Village Station town homes — Allegheny Park

Jillian Nazarof said she found a male black and white cat with red collar and tag in the Village Station town homes, and their backyard backs up to Allegheny Park. She said the cat came up to her and her husband. Her husband called and texted the number on the cat's tag, but no one has responded. "I’m hoping save a pet or fat cat rescue has a spot for this sweet guy in the morning if we can’t get in contact with the owners! Please message me or comment on post!!"
Mundelein: "Sophie"
Sophie has been missing since June 3from Mundelein Fire Department at Rt 45. Contact information is listed in the photo.
