GRAYSLAKE, IL — Village officials in Grayslake are urging residents to support local restaurants that are shut down for dine-in traffic amid concerns over the spread of the new coronavirus. On Tuesday, Grayslake Mayor Rhett Taylor shared a letter with residents on the village's website that included a list of Grayslake restaurants that are offering pick-up and delivery options.

Under Gov. JB Pritzker's mandate, all restaurants and bars across the state will be closed until the end of the month. The full list can be found on the city of Grayslake website and village officials are encouraging residents to call the restaurant to confirm the services since offerings may change.

"The village encourages residents to support local restaurants by ordering for pickup or delivery services," Taylor wrote.
