LAKE COUNTY, IL — These furry friends have gone missing from their Lake County owners in recent days. Mundelein — cat

A cat was found Wednesday, Nov. 6 over by the Baymont in Mundelein, at 517 E. Highway 83. Nathan Woodall‎ wrote, "I tried to get him to at least bring into the hotel. However he took off under the fence and is in the wooded lot next to the hotel. Best to share just in case someone missing a cat in this area." Is this your cat?


Highland Park — "Tiny" the Chihuahua

Samantha Morales‎ said her male Chihuahua "Tiny" was last seen on Oct. 28, 2019 near Red Oak Lane in Highland Park. Tony has blonde fur with a white chest, and was last seen with a brown collar. Anyone with information is asked to call or text at any time — 847-9902-4220.

"We miss him so much and want to know he’s safe specially with this crazy weather," Morales wrote.


Vernon Hills — Female dog

As of 7:06 a.m., Nov. 9, Vernon Hills police are trying to find owners of this female dog, located near the Walgreens on 60 in Vernon Hills, according to ‎Kimee Eckels‎. Eckels said she took the dog to the police station, and said the dog was wearing a pink collar and a black harness.


Gurnee — Cat

Joni Meow‎ said this cat has been visiting her home off Lawson Avenue in Pembrook, in Gurnee, every day for the past couple months. Now that it's getting colder out, Joni said he is "desperate to come inside the house."

"I have 5 feral cats living there already that do not like him and we are in the process of moving, so I want to find him a permanent home before winter. He’s a very friendly boy, lets me give him pets when I feed him and let me pick him up to check his gender."

If anyone knows who this cat may belong to or would be interested in adopting him in the near future, please contact Joni ASAP.


Beach Park — Siberian Husky

The Lake County Sheriff picked up a Husky on Wednesday after it was found in Beach Park. Please contact them if you are the owner or know the owner.
