New Mass Vaccination Site Opens In Round Lake Beach
When supply allows the facility to reach its peak capacity of 5,000 vaccinations per day it will be the largest site in Lake County.

LAKE COUNTY, IL — A new mass vaccination site has opened in Round Lake Beach.
The site is located in a former KMart Supercenter at 400 E. Rollins Road is providing indoor COVID-19 vaccinations by appointments to all 16 years old and older who live or work in Lake County. Vaccines will be free.
The site opened on April 20. When vaccine supply allows the facility to reach its peak capacity of 5,000 vaccinations per day it will be the largest vaccination site in the county.

Vaccines will be offered Tuesdays through Sundays from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. by appointment, officials said. The site will be operated by a collaboration between Baxter, Curative and the Lake County Health Department.

The county said those who have already registered for a vaccine via AllVax and opted in to have their information shared with vaccine partners could be contacted by Curative to schedule an appointment in Round Lake Beach.
Vaccines are available at several locations across Lake County:
- Regional Vaccination Site — 102 W. Water Street, Waukegan
- Offers drive-thru and walk-up appointments on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Sundays
- Appointments must be made via AllVax
- Patty Turner Center — 375 Elm Street, Deerfield
- Offers appointments via AllVax and Doctors Test Center
- The site is operated by the county's health department, along with the Village of Deerfield and Deerfield Park District
- Catholic Charities — 116 Lincoln Avenue, Round Lake
- Vaccinations are available by appointment on Saturdays
- Appointments can be made through community partners and Doctors Test Center
- Christ Church of Grayslake — 1350 IL-137, Grayslake
- Vaccinations available by appointment on Saturdays
- The church is setting appointments through local outreach efforts
- The church may contact people already registered in AllVax to set appointments
- Lake County Fairgrounds — 1060 E Peterson Road, Grayslake
- Vaccines by appointment through AllVax
- This site is walk-through only; disability accommodations are available
- 3363 Sheridan Road, Zion
- This site is expected to open on April 26; details are forthcoming
