North Chicago Man Found Shot To Death In Crashed Car
Police responded to a crash at a building 11th Street, but found the body of a man slumped behind the steering wheel with a gunshot wound.
WAUKEGAN, IL — A North Chicago man was found dead behind the steering wheel of a crashed car on Sunday morning, police said, but his fatal injuries were not from the impact.
Waukegan police said Monday the man in his 30s died of an apparent gunshot wound. Officials found the body around 4:45 a.m. Sunday when responding to a crash at a building on the 1600 block of 11th Street.
The man's identity has not been released pending an autopsy. As of Monday afternoon, police said there is no one in custody.
