Portion Of Fairfield Road Closed Next Week
The Lake County Division of Transportation will be closing Fairfield Road from Route 120 to Route 134 starting on Wednesday morning.

LAKE COUNTY, IL — The Lake County Division of Transportation will be closing Fairfield Road from Route 120 to IL Route 134 starting at 7 a.m. on Oct. 2. The roadway is scheduled to reopen by the late in the afternoon on Tuesday, Nov. 6.
The closure is necessary to replace a culvert at Squaw Creek, according to a news release from the Lake County Division of Transportation.
A detour route is planned for Route 120 to Wilson Road to Route 134. Local traffic will have access from IL 134 south to Nippersink Road and local residences and from IL Route 120 north to local residences.

The road will be closed to all through traffic at Squaw Creek.
