The Lake County Sheriff’s Office will conduct extra traffic safety patrols from November 18 - November 28, 2016, during the Thanksgiving Holiday Traffic Safety Campaign.

Thanksgiving is considered a family holiday and marks the start of the holiday season for many people. It is also one of the deadliest times on our roadways because of impaired drivers. Lake County Sheriff’s Deputies will be focusing their efforts on locating impaired drivers, speeders, distracted drivers, and occupant restraint violators, during the campaign.
