Your Guide To Grayslake's Color Aloft Balloon Festival
The festival will be on August 25 at Central Park.

GRAYSLAKE, IL -- The 6th Annual Color Aloft Balloon festival will be taking to the sky above Central Park in Grayslake this weekend. The fest gets underway at 3 p.m. and will continue through 9 p.m. Saturday. There will be musical entertainment, a Civil War era baseball game, children's activities, storytelling, business booths, and, of course plenty of colorful hot air balloons up above.
The festival is held at Central Park and attendees should enter off of Lake Street.

Parking is available at Grayslake Central High School, Grayslake Middle School, Grayslake Aquatic Center, and the Grayslake Public Library. Handicap parking is available off of Briar Gate Lane.
There will be no food vendors but attendees can bring a picnic to eat at the park.

Here is a look at the schedule of events:
- Old Fashioned baseball game: 3 p.m.
- Slam Funk on main stage: 5 p.m.
- Carnival games beginning at 3 p.m.
- Business booths and children's activities: 3 p.m.
- Balloon launch window: 5 to 6:30 p.m.
- Balloon glow window: 8 to 8:30 p.m.
