1 Person At Central Tests Positive For Virus: School
Those who came into close contact with the person have been notified, school says.
HINSDALE, IL — Hinsdale Central High School was informed about a person on campus who tested positive for the coronavirus Wednesday, the school says.
In a mass email Thursday, the school said those who came into close contact with the person have been notified.
"If you were not individually notified in addition to this communication, that means your child was not a close contact," the school said in the statement. "As a reminder, close contact is defined as within 6', with or without a mask, for a cumulative 15 minutes."

The person with the coronavirus remains at home, the school said. Central has no plan to change its current schedule.
"We know that our staff and students are working hard to continue to follow our safety protocols that promote behaviors that reduce the spread of COVID-19 and (as in this case) prepare for when someone gets sick," the statement said.
