15 Driving Violations Cited on Halloween: Hinsdale Police

The police released their Halloween numbers, which they hoped would be low due to the publicized "Drive Sober or Get Pulled Over" campaign.

The Hinsdale Police Department, which cracked down on its "Drive Sober or Get Pulled Over" rule this Halloween, has announced the numbers of citations it issued that weekend.

The police handed out five speeding tickets, recorded two citations for the possession of marijuana and one for the possession of drug paraphernalia, and cited seven other violations to the Illinois Vehicle Code, the department announced Tuesday.

Law enforcement departments across the state took part in the “Drive Sober or Get Pulled Over” and “Click it or Ticket” campaigns, which are not only statewide but national efforts to keep drivers safe on the road.
