29th Annual Craft Show Supports High School Band

Over 96 craft vendors to offer holiday gift options.

Westmont High School's 29th Annual Band Booster Craft Show will be held Saturday, December from 9am to 3pm and will feature over 96 vendors offering handcrafted items just in time for holiday shopping.

The craft show is hosted annually on the first Saturday of December at Westmont High School, 909 Oakwood Drive in Westmont and is the Band Boosters' biggest fundraiser. This year's show will offer a little bit of everything, from jewelry, crocheted items, soaps, original photography, jams and jellies, teacher gifts, items for cats and dogs and more.

“We are so pleased to offer shoppers such a large variety of handcrafted items this year,” said Westmont High School Band Booster officer and event organizer, Martha Armstrong. "The band program depends on this event to help fund needed items. Our marching band uniforms and percussion equipment need to be replaced."

Proceeds from concessions and the raffle will support the band program. In addition to lots of vendor items, this year the raffle will feature a special gift card tree valued at over $500. The concessions menu will include items from Starbucks, Great American Bagel, Pepperidge Farm, Zazzo's Pizza and Jersey Mike's.

The Westmont High School band members will be present to help set up booths, bringing lunch or snacks to the vendors and clean up after the show. “Our students are also looking forward to performing holiday songs during the event, adding to the festive atmosphere,” said Armstrong.
