Here is a list of businesses nominated, some which received more than one recommendation:
- Cafe La Fortuna: "Great product. Great service."
- Hinsdale Humane Society: "Everyone here at the shelter has been totally dedicated to all of the animals in our care. I am a volunteer, and it has been a real pleasure helping to care for the cats and dogs. Hinsdale has received many animals from other shelters that could not care for them. Both in state and out of state the animals are always looked after with total love and compassion. Even during this very trying year they have upped their game and have taken in many animals and have found them forever homes or for the time being Hinsdale Humane Society is their home."
- Holland Hardware: "Owner is 80+ years old and going strong serving customers from his alley shop for 31 years!"
