4th Of July Events Near Hinsdale-Clarendon Hills: 2020 Guide

HINSDALE, IL – July 4 events across the country will not look the same this year thanks to the coronavirus. Many cities and towns have been forced to cancel their annual Fourth of July events. Although no major Fourth of July events have yet been scheduled in Hinsdale or Clarendon Hills, a few suburbs are holding celebrations:

Lemont
*The annual Independence Day extravaganza and fireworks show has been canceled, but the town is holding a parade.

• What: "America's Birthday Parade — Bringing the Red, White and Blue to You" will go through the community and bring the parade to you.

Mokena
* Mokena's annual Fourth of July parade has been canceled, but a fireworks show is in the works.

• What: Fourth of July fireworks
• Where: TBD
• When: Evening of July 4

New Lenox

• What: New Lenox Fourth of July parade honoring essential workers
• Where: The parade will follow Cedar Road down Haven to the Commons.
• When: 11 a.m., July 4.

Orland Park

• What: Fourth of July fireworks and music celebration
• Where: Centennial Park
• When: 7:15 p.m. music, 9:30 p.m. fireworks display
