AMI Violin Competition - May 6th, 2018

American Music Institute (AMI) will host its annual AMI Violin Competition on May 6th, 2018 at AMI's Clarendon Hills Campus, located just 20 minutes west of downtown Chicago.

Competition Info:

· Ages 5-18yrs old

· Open Competition

· Repertoire – 1 piece/movement – level appropriate (up to 10 min)

· Application deadline is April 30th, 2018

· Register at www.amimusic.org

Prize and Awards:

· 1st Prize – $400

· 2nd Prize – $125

· 3rd Prize – $75

Come hear some of the country's best young artists at the AMI Violin Competition – Memorial Winners Concert on May 20th at 2pm at AMI's Clarendon Hills campus, located at 60 55th St in Clarendon Hills. The Memorial Concert is open to the public where competition Winners and Laureates will showcase their talent and receive their prizes and awards.

American Music Institute is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization with campuses in Clarendon Hills and St. Charles. We are dedicated to enriching our community by offering access to high quality music education programs through merit and financial need scholarships. AMI programs and classes are for all levels, ages, instruments, and styles of music.
