Another Wallet Stolen At Hinsdale Store: Cops
Later, someone tried to make a $2,000 purchase using the victim's credit cards, report says.
HINSDALE, IL — For the second time this month, a wallet was reported stolen at Hinsdale's Whole Foods, 500 E. Ogden Ave., police said.
According to a police report, a woman said her wallet was in her purse inside a grocery cart while she was shopping about 2:30 p.m. Friday. It contained credit cards, a driver's license and about $75 in cash.
Someone later tried to make a purchase of $2,000 at a home improvement store in Countryside using the woman's credit card, police said.

Late the afternoon of May 2, a woman told police her wallet was stolen from her shopping cart at Whole Foods. She later reported four fraudulent charges on her credit cards after the theft, totaling $1,986.
