TUESDAY, MARCH 5
Salesmen, Please Stop
Someone reported a suspicious automobile at 8:47 p.m. at the intersection of Ann and Short streets. An officer responded and found two men in their 20s going door-to-door soliciting to shovel snow. The officer told the men they need a permit and can only solicit during certain times.
MONDAY, MARCH 4
Disturbance
Someone reported two men at 7:27 p.m. arguing in an apartment on the 5700 block of Concord Lane. The officer made contact with the men, who were arguing about a failed delivery of a UPS package. The men were given notice about the call complaint. One of the men walked outside to make a phone call and calm down, according to a police report.

Dog Gets Loose
An officer located a stray dog at 3:39 p.m. in the road on the 300 block of Ruby Street. The dog had proper tags and was returned to a home on the same block. The owner said that the dog was let out of the house without its electric fence collar attached. The officer warned the owner about the local ordinance for dogs to be leashed.
