Artists Wanted for 30th Annual Craft Show

The Westmont High School Band Boosters of Community Unit School District 201 are seeking crafters and artists for their 30th Annual Craft Show, on Saturday, December 7, from 9:00am-3:00pm. Interested vendors may reserve a space by November 20.

The annual craft show exclusively features handmade items and takes place at Westmont High School, located at 909 N. Oakwood Drive in Westmont. The event accommodates over 100 vendors all on one level, in and around the gymnasium. Westmont High School is a handicapped-accessible building with an adjacent parking lot. Admission to the show is free.

Westmont High School band students will be available to help vendors unload and load their vehicles and will add to the festive atmosphere by performing holiday music. Vendor fees, raffle and concessions support the Band program.

The Band Boosters assist with everything from music to instrument repairs, to helping out at band events. "Westmont's band program is following the district's example; we are striving to be a small giant," said band director Rachel Finnes. "All of the events and opportunities we provide our students would not be possible without the help and support of our Band Boosters program."
