Batter Up!

Girls who play softball will discover they've hit a home run with attendance at the Clarendon Hills Park District's Lady Red Devils Training Academy Camp. This popular program returns to Prospect Park's Eccles Field between 2 p.m. and 4:30 p.m., August 19-August 21. Open to girls ages 8-14, this clinic will include instruction in hitting, fielding, pitching and base running. Members of the girls' softball team at Hinsdale Central High School will serve as trainers and mentors at this clinic, and a professional hitting instructor will be available at the camp. Cost of this program is $85.00 per player and includes a clinic t-shirt. All activities at the Lady Red Devils Training Academy Camp will comply with Phase 4 regulations for athletic instruction. Registration remains open at the Clarendon Hills Park District Community Center, 315 Chicago Avenue, between the hours of 9 a.m. and 5 p.m., Mondays through Fridays. Families with an active household account at the Clarendon Hills Park District are encouraged to register on-line at www.clarendonhillsparkdistrict.org.
