"This program helped a middle school runner develop into a leader, All-State in high school and future Illini student-athlete... all while having fun and helping others learn about this great sport. Cannot say enough about the CFTC!"

"Your circular learning experience has my son excited to continue with the program! He just keeps growing and getting better!"
The Chicago Flyers mission is to develop a child's passion for a lifetime of fitness and encourage development of self-confidence, discipline, and athletic achievement while having fun
through competitive sports. Close to a 1,000 athletes from Oak Park to Downers Grove have trained with the Chicago Flyers. We make training fun!
Whether the kids are running an obstacle course, circuit training, sprinting for 20 minutes during sharks and minnows or going for a long run, the Flyers offer the most current methodology appropriate for youth athletic development. Practices address technique, muscle activation, strength, speed, core and agility. You won't find static stretching at our practices or repetitive distance that is more appropriate for high school athletes. Each practice is unique and designed to maximize a child's athletic performance for their age. Age-appropriate training is important so they don't experience burn-out and get bored in high school.
Even the most reluctant-to-move child falls in love with the Flyers. Each practice offers many ways your child can measure their own improvement. Attitude, Attention to Detail, Leadership are just a few of the Chicago Flyers Values that team members daily recognize in their peers. We don't allow cliques or the singular emphasis of being the fastest.
Starting June 10th, Monday-Thursday morning practices are in Westmont, IL. Sunday afternoon practices are in local forest preserves with a few scavenger hunt type runs. Ages 9-15 years old.
