Clarendon Hills Announces Winners Of Halloween Decorating Contest
The homes were selected for prizes based on originality, creativity and the arrangement of seasonal designs.
CLARENDON HILLS, IL — The Clarendon Hills Park District recently announced the winners of its annual Halloween House Decorating Contest. The park district said there were 12 homes competing for prizes and the decision on the winners were announced Oct. 26.
The homes were selected for prizes based on originality, creativity and the arrangement of seasonal designs. All the winners received a gift card to an area restaurant, according to the park district.
First place was awarded to the "ghost house" at 270 Terrace Drive. 125 Indian Drive was awarded second place, and 103 Ann St. and 45 Chestnut Ave., tied for third place.

Other homes entered in the competition include: 245 Coe Road, 236 Middaugh Road, 26 Waverly, 115 Walker Ave., 314 Ruby St., 543 Western Ave., 18 Gilbert Ave. and 12 Arthur Ave.
