Clarendon Hills Park District Basketball League News!
Program Will Be Open to Kindergarten Students
Dribble on down! The Clarendon Hills Park District's popular youth basketball league will be open to a number of kindergarten students this season. The season runs between October 24 and December 14, with Saturday morning games and one Tuesday or Thursday practice each week. In previous years, this program has been open only to children in Grades 1-3. All games and practices are held at either Prospect or Walker School, and every attempt is made to keep children from the same school together on teams. This popular program emphasizes dribbling, passing, shooting, offense, defense, sportsmanship and game play. The $70.00 resident ($88.00 non-resident) fee includes a t-shirt, team picture and trophy. The registration deadline for this fun program is Friday, October 18. Please stop by the Community Center, 315 E. Chicago Avenue, to sign up for this league. Let's play basketball!
