Woman Reports Suspicious Man Following Her: Police Blotter

SATURDAY, MAY 11
Speedy Theft
A man on the 100 block of North Garfield misplaced a coin purse and a car key with a “Speedpass” on the key ring. The incident occurred sometime between 8 a.m. May 4 and 2:57 p.m. on this day. The man noticed a $1 charge on the Speedpass and canceled the account.

Work Bench, Chainsaw Taken
A portable work bench, jack, chainsaw and step stool were taken from a man's storage locker in a parking garage on the 1400 block of Burr Oak Road. The incident occurred sometime between noon April 6 and 4:30 p.m. on this day.
Car Burglary I
Someone took a wallet, iPhone, $30 in gift cards and $177 in cash from a man's unlocked vehicle on the 400 block of Warren Terrace, police said. The incident occurred between 12:01 a.m. and 2 p.m. on this day, according to police.

Car Burglary II
Someone took a smart phone, lunch bag and jumper cables from a man's landscaping vehicle while it was parked in a parking lot on the first block of South Clay. The incident occurred during a 15-min. period that began at 10:42 a.m. on this day, police said.
WEDNESDAY, MAY 8
Stop Following Me
A woman reported an unknown suspect followed her from her home in Willowbrook to her workplace in Hinsdale. The woman has seen the suspect in the area of her work several times between the time period of 7:15 a.m. April 20 and 6:40 a.m. on this day, police said.
