Dribble on Down to the Clarendon Hills Park District

Dribble on down to the Clarendon Hills Park District for our popular Youth Basketball League! Registration for this program will remain open through October 18, providing players in grades 1-3 with game play and instruction in dribbling, passing, shooting, offensive and defensive skills, good sportsmanship and fun. This year, the Clarendon Hills Park District will have a league for new players in first and second grades, as well as an advanced beginners league for good sports in second and third grades. Each team will have a series of practices on either Tuesday or Thursday evenings, followed by Saturday morning games. All activities take place at either Prospect or Walker Schools. League dates are between October 24 and December 14. Practices will be cancelled on Halloween, and practices and games will not be held Thanksgiving week. All of our games will be played in two, twenty minute halves. Every effort will be made to group players by age level and local school. The $70.00 resident fee ($88.00 non-resident) includes a team t-shirt, trophy and team photo. Registration remains open at the Clarendon Hills Park District Community Center, 315 E. Chicago Avenue. Families with an active household account in the Clarendon Hills Park District's Rec Trac system are encouraged to register on line at www.clarendonhillsparkdistrict.org.
