Groundbreaking Explore God Initiative Launches in Chicago

Across denominational boundaries, Chicago talks about spiritual questions.

HINSDALE, ILLINOIS - This Sunday marks the beginning of the groundbreaking Explore God initiative in Chicago. More than 800 churches around the greater Chicago area are exploring the big questions people have about God.

Explore God was designed to make it easy for anyone, regardless of their spiritual background, to have a conversation about the big questions around God, including:

• Does life have a purpose?
• Is there a God?
• Why does God allow pain and suffering?
• Is Christianity too narrow?
• Is Jesus really God?
• Is the Bible reliable?
• Can I know God personally?

One of the most unique aspects of this event is that 800 churches will be having these discussions at the same time. This is not led by any single church, pastor or denomination. The Explore God initiative is for everyone.

"This Explore God series will be for everyone--believers and nonbelievers alike--who wants to think carefully about these important questions. I hope many curious people will come!" – Senior Pastor Geoff Ziegler
