HINSDALE, IL — When times are tough, heroes emerge. We all know someone who's making a difference right now as we live through unprecedented and changing times.

Here at Patch, we've launched an initiative to help recognize these heroes making a difference in their communities. Together with Ring, we're working to let all your neighbors know about these outstanding people and their stories.

Hero's job: Health care

Reason for recognition: Dr. Garrigues has continued to care for patients throughout COVID-19. When elective surgery was canceled, he was available 24/7 to patients in pain via telemedicine. Now that elective surgery is allowed again, he is working overtime to accommodate patients.

One thing to know: He is relentless in his passion for helping patients relieve shoulder pain and return to favorite activities.
