Hinsdale Generously Supports Local Food Drive
Thanks to the generosity of Hinsdale residents, and over 400 volunteers, over 1000 bags of food and donations were collected for food banks.

The St. Isaac Jogues Seeds of Service food drive was a great success this year with a tremendous Hinsdale donation of bags of food and donations such as diapers and toothpaste collected for six charities. On Sunday April 8th, volunteers distributed bags to houses throughput Hinsdale. On April 14th bags were collected, sorted and delivered to the following charities:

- St. Mary’s Mission in Red Lake, Mn (https://www.stmarysmission.org/)
- Little Sisters of the Poor in Palantine, IL (http://www.littlesistersofthepoorpalatine.org/)
- Missionaries of Charity in Chicago (http://www.motherteresa.org/)
- At the request of the Missionaries of Charity in Chicago, a parishioner drove their contributions to a Missionaries of Charity food bank in Kentucky for distribution to the rural poor
- Franciscans of the Eucharist of Chicago in Humboldt Park, IL (http://www.franciscansoftheeucharistofchicago.com/)
