
Hinsdale, IL - In honor of Earth Day, the Village of Hinsdale will host a volunteer event to beautify the village's parks.
The second annual Park Clean-Up Day will take place April 22 at Burns Field. Work begins at 8:30 a.m., and refreshments will be served at 11 a.m. at KLM Park south shelter, according to the village.
The event is a good opportunity for for children, scout groups, churches, businesses and service organizations to contribute to the community.

The first 100 volunteers will receive a free T-shirt. Projects include planting, painting and debris removal. Volunteers should bring work gloves.
