Hinsdale Injury Crash Results In DUI Arrest: Cops
Four people were taken to the hospital after the accident, police say.

HINSDALE, IL — A Wheaton man was arrested last week on a DUI charge in a crash in December that sent four people to the hospital, police said.
Darrien J. Watson, 28, was charged with aggravated DUI involving great bodily harm and disobeying a stop sign. The crash happened about 4:30 p.m. Dec. 19 at Lincoln Street and Hinsdale Avenue.
According to a police report, two cars collided, causing one of them to spin into a parked car on Hinsdale Avenue. Four occupants were taken to the hospital for treatment; the police report did not describe the extent of their injuries.

Police said an open container of alcohol and two bags of a green leafy substance were found inside one of the cars and in one driver's possession.
An arrest warrant was issued for Watson on Feb. 16, and he was served seven days later. He was taken to the DuPage County Jail.
