Hinsdale Library Hosts Art Opening Reception

After Supper Visions is a photography program for the poor, homeless and near homeless of Chicago.

HINSDALE, IL — The Hinsdale Public Library will host a Winter Art Opening Reception for "After Supper Visions." According to the library website, the reception will be held on Thursday, Feb. 15 from 6 to 8 p.m.

Guests will be able to meet the artists and view their work at this open house. According to the library, After Supper Visions is a photography program for the poor, homeless and near homeless of Chicago. On Tuesday nights, supper guests at Catholic Charities of the Archdiocese of Chicago’s downtown office have an opportunity to receive a camera and instruction by professional photographers. Photos are then taken by the supper guests of the city from their point of view.

The library said this exhibit features images recorded by some of those emerging artists. Proceeds from the sale of photos support the supper guest artists.
