Hinsdale Police Arrest Report: criminal damage to property, underage drinking, theft
Hinsdale Police arrest from Dec. 20 to Dec. 24

Grace P. Juriga, 20, of 106 Le Grande Boulevard, Aurora was arrested on Dec. 20 for stealing a shirt and two bottles of perfume valued at $134 from The Green Goddess. Juriga was charged with retail theft under $300 and released to appear in court.
Five juveniles were arrested on Dec. 22 for criminal damage to property on the 200 block of N. Adams Street. The group was seen running into a parked car on the 10 block of N. Monroe Street. Two perpetrators were also charged for possession of drug equipment and three were charged with possession of marijuana. Two perpetrators were charged with illegal consumption of alcohol.

A burglary was reported on Dec. 23 on the 400 block of S. Vine Street. The victim reported damaged window screens on her house when the windows were locked and no entry was made.
An unidentified perpetrator is suspected of fraud after an incident on Dec. 22 on the 700 block of Chestnut Street. The perpetrator claimed she was a public defender to the victim and said her grandson needed bond money. The perpetrator told the victim to send $3,850 through Money Gram. Later, the victim realized her grandson was not arrested.

A 15-year-old boy was a arrested on Dec. 24 for illegal consumption of alcohol on the intersection of County Line Road and 47th Street. The juvenile was observed on Village Street past curfew and appeared drunk. He was charged and released to a parent.
Andrew Martinec, 30, of 4205 S. Arthur Avenue, Brookfield, Illinois was arrested for retail theft on Dec. 24 at the Whole Foods on E. Ogden Avenue. Martinec was seen leaving the store with two bags of groceries that he didn’t pay for. The items were valued at $50. He was charged and released to appear in court.
A unknown perpetrator is suspected resisted and obstructing an officer on Dec. 27 on the 300 block of E. Odgen Avenue. The suspect was stopped for speed while her driver’s license was suspended, and fled the traffic stop.
