Hinsdale Police Reports: Soliciting, Disorderly Conduct, Car Burglaries
Hinsdale Police Department reported crimes through Aug. 9.

Someone used the victim’s identity to open a fraudulent credit card July 26. At time of report, there were two unknown pending charges to the credit account.
Police were dispatched to a solicitor complaint Aug. 7 in the 700 block of Justina Street. Two male teenagers from Chicago did not obtain permits for solicitation prior to soliciting. They gave false names to police when questioned. They were each charged with soliciting without permit and resisting officer and released to appear in court.

Police were dispatched to a report of a man with a gun Aug. 8 in the area of Grant and 55th. A woman reported that the man was honking his horn and following closely after she changed lanes in front of him on 55th Street in Clarendon Hills. The woman reported the man exited his cab and approached her car while they were stopped at a red light at the intersection of 55th and Grant. She said the man had a large black object that she believed was a gun. The man, identified as Keith K Cunningham, 53 of Westmont, was stopped by Clarendon Hills police on Route 83 and Knollwood. Police searched suspect’s car and did not find a gun. The woman identified a flashlight as the object that the man approached her car with. Cunningham was charged with disorderly conduct and released to appear in court.
Someone entered unlocked cars between Aug. 6 and 7 in driveways in the 500, 600 and 700 blocks of N County Line Road and stole a power screw driver valued at $30, two pairs of sunglasses valued at $600, jewelry valued at $70, a bag of clothes the victim was planning to donate to Goodwill and a briefcase.

Someone entered unlocked cars between Aug. 5 and 7 and rummaged through center consoles and glove boxes in the 500 and 600 blocks of N County Line Road. The car owners reported nothing missing from the vehicles.
