Hinsdale Transition Program to Host 'Turkey Bowl' Friday

The event is geared toward special education students, a spokesman for the district said.

Due to overwhelming success in 2015, the Hinsdale Township High School District 86 Transition Program will be hosting its Turkey Bowl event for the second year now.

This year, 207 students from across 13 area programs are already registered to attend this Friday’s event, which is geared toward special education young adults, according to a release from District 86.

The event Nov. 18 will last from 11 a.m.-1:30 p.m. at the Suburbanite Bowling Alley at 201 W. Ogden Ave. in Westmont.

The Turkey Bowl is open to registered participants only.
