Hinsdale's Thanksgiving 2020 Grocery Store Hours
Find out when you can pick up those last-minute Thanksgiving staples from area stores such as Whole Foods, Jewel-Osco and Mariano's.
HINSDALE, IL — While Thanksgiving Day feasts are likely to be a little smaller this year due to the coronavirus pandemic, that doesn’t mean we’re less likely to forget the cranberry sauce, the gravy or the whipped topping for the pumpkin pie.
It’s a terrible feeling — but, luckily, there’s a list of grocery stores that will be open in Hinsdale-Clarendon Hills for those emergency and last-minute shopping trips.
In contrast to previous years, retail giants Target and Walmart will not be open on Thanksgiving.

Both chains made the decision in response to the coronavirus pandemic. In a statement released on its website, Target said the company’s goal is to "make the holiday shopping experience simple, safe, and stress-free.”
Here are the hours for grocery stores that will be open on Thanksgiving Day, along with a list of those that won’t:

- Jewel-Osco, 303 Holmes Ave., Clarendon Hills: Open 6 a.m. to 4 p.m. Pharmacy hours may vary by location.
- Mariano’s, 4700 Gilbert Ave., Western Springs: The chain's stores open at usual time, close at 5 p.m.; pharmacies closed.
- Whole Foods, 500 E. Ogden Ave., Hinsdale: Open 7 a.m. to 5 p.m.
