Just 5 New Virus Cases In Hinsdale: Agencies
Clarendon Hills sees an increase of only one case in the last week.
HINSDALE, IL — Hinsdale and Clarendon Hills each saw increases in coronavirus cases in the single digits last week, according to county agencies.
As of Sunday, Hinsdale had 1,634 coronavirus cases since the start of the pandemic, up five from a week before, or a 0.3 percent hike. The village saw a 0.7 percent hike the previous week.
Meanwhile, Clarendon Hills reached 868 as of Sunday, up one from a week before, or a 0.1 percent increase. The village saw a 0.2 percent hike the previous week.

The number of those who have recovered is unavailable.
Hinsdale saw no new coronavirus deaths in the last week, with the total still at 60 since the pandemic's beginning, according to county agencies. Clarendon Hills' number of deaths stayed the same in the last week, at 13. Hinsdale's number is largely driven by a coronavirus outbreak at ManorCare Hinsdale nursing home earlier in the crisis.

The figure compares to 81 in Darien, 87.3 in La Grange Park, 90.1 in DuPage County, 93.8 in Elmhurst, 97.5 in Western Springs, 99.2 in Clarendon Hills, 101.5 in suburban Cook County, 103.9 in Burr Ridge and 119.8 in La Grange (including unincorporated La Grange Highlands).

As of Sunday, Illinois' coronavirus case count increased to 1,381,665, up 0.4 percent from a week earlier. The number of confirmed deaths so far is 22,794.
Nationally, 33.1 million people have caught the virus, up 0.5 percent from the week before. A total of 590,959 people have died from the virus in the United States.
