Labor Day 2018: What's Closed, Open In Hinsdale-Clarendon Hills

HINSDALE-CLARENDON HILLS, IL — Labor Day marks the unofficial end of summer for most people, and many take advantage of the holiday to go on one last vacation or road trip. This year, Labor Day is Monday, Sept. 3. Since Labor Day is a federal holiday, it means a day off work and no school for children, and many municipal services are also closed.

Here's what will be closed in Hinsdale and Clarendon Hills:

• Village offices in Hinsdale and in Clarendon Hills are closed Sept. 3.
• Hinsdale Public Library, closed Sept. 2 and 3.
• Clarendon Hills Library, closed Sept. 3.
• Post offices closed
• Waste/garbage services, no services Monday. Services will be delayed by one day.
