Man Enters Garage As Woman Arrives: Hinsdale Cops
The suspect then requests to go to the hospital. Charges are pending, police say.
HINSDALE, IL — In the last few days, Hinsdale police have handled cases involving trespassing, damage, fraud, drugs and DUI. Here is information from Hinsdale police reports:
Trespassing
- A man entered a garage without permission as a woman arrived home shortly before midnight June 7 in the 500 block of Princeton Road. The suspect was taken into custody and requested to go to the hospital. Charges are pending the suspect's release from the hospital.
Damage

- A construction site gate was knocked down and a portable toilet was damaged about 10 a.m. Saturday in the 700 block of Wilson Lane. The case is pending.
- A car was scratched while parked in a parking lot between 9 a.m. and 5:30 p.m. Friday at RML Specialty Hospital, 5601 S. County Line Road.
- A garbage can was damaged about 11:30 p.m. June 6 in the 600 block of West North Street.
- A suspect entered a vacant property garage and spray-painted graffiti between March 1 and June 10 in the 100 block of North Vine Street.
Fraud
- A resident in the 600 block of North Garfield Avenue told police Wednesday about fraudulent activity on her credit card that amounted to $64. The activity happened May 5.
- A resident in the 10 block of Sharon Court told police Friday that someone opened a Nordstrom's credit card using the resident's information and charged $595. The crime happened between April 21 and May 7.
Drugs

- A driver was stopped for improper lane use about 10:30 p.m. Wednesday at Route 83 and 55th Street. The driver was in possession of a liquid and crystallized substance that field tested positive for codeine/morphine. Charges are pending lab results.
DUI
- Michael P. Radosta, 20, of Flossmoor, was arrested about 7:30 a.m. Saturday in the parking lot at 440 E. Ogden Ave. on a charge of DUI. Police were called about a person, later identified as Radosta, asleep in the driver's seat. The suspect submitted to testing that indicated he was over the legal limit. Radosta was released and given a date to appear in court.
