Midwest Orthopaedics at Rush Expanding to Oak Brook

Residents of Chicago’s western suburbs who suffer from joint or spine pain, or have experienced sports injuries, can now receive treatment closer to home from the nation’s top-rated orthopedic physicians. Midwest Orthopaedics at Rush(MOR), the highest ranked orthopedic program in Illinois and ranked #4 in the nation*, is growing its footprint in the western suburbs. MOR physicians; who serve as team doctors for the Chicago Bulls, Chicago White Sox, Chicago Fire Soccer Club and Joffrey Ballet, among other popular teams and dance troupes; are eager to expand their high-quality, coordinated care with the opening of a brand new, state-of-the-art facility at 2011 York Road in Oak Brook.

The MOR practice occupies the building’s first floor with 16 patient exam rooms, a cast room, physical therapy, occupational therapy, MRI and X-ray imaging, and durable medical equipment services for orthopedic patients. The Oak Brook location also features a sports performance center, designed to help patients transition from physical therapy to more intense physical activity. The third floor features an outpatient surgery center that includes six operating rooms, two procedure rooms, and 28 patient bays for pre-surgical preparation and post-surgical recovery.
