Oak Street Bridge Stoplights to be Auctioned
The silent auction will take place Aug. 11.

HINSDALE, IL — Two iconic stoplights that regulated traffic over the historic Oak Street Bridge in Hinsdale will be sold in a silent auction.
The auction will take place from 6 to 8:30 p.m. Aug. 11 at the Uniquely Thursdays concert in Burlington Park, according to the Oak Street Bridge Project.
The auction will be held by the village of Hinsdale and the Hinsdale Chamber of Commerce. Auction proceeds will be used to buy benches for the pocket park on the southwest corner of the new Oak Street Bridge.

The silent auction booth will be on Chicago Avenue between Washington Street and Garfield Street.
Final bids will be taken at 8:15 p.m., and the winners will be announced at 8:30 p.m. Bidders must be present to win.

If the event is cancelled, the silent auction will be rescheduled for Aug. 17.
