CLARENDON HILLS, IL — Mary Brown, a friend of the Clarendon Hills Park District, captured these moments in Prospect Park. An osprey flies over the Prospect Park Pond in Clarendon Hills, while a heron and red-winged blackbird are the only visitors to the 23-acre community park in Clarendon Hills on a sunny spring day recently.

The park includes baseball fields, a basketball court, batting cages, a community center, a natural prairie area, a picnic pavilion, a sand volleyball court, soccer fields, a fishing pond and a campfire area, among other features.
