Soroptimist Seeking Applicants for Educational Grant

Soroptimist International of Suburban Chicago announces grant for women pursuing a BA, MA, or PhD

Soroptimist International of Suburban Chicago is pleased to announce the Virginia Wagner Educational Grant opportunity for women. Soroptimist is an international volunteer organization for business and professional women who work to improve the lives of women and girls, in local communities and throughout the world.

Soroptimists advocate for women; support the pertinent sustainable goals for the United Nations with their voice on matters for women and fight trafficking and domestic violence. We believe that women can achieve their dreams through access to education and training needed for economic and social empowerment.

The Grant is unique to the Soroptimist Midwestern Region, and therefore only women attending schools/universities and living in the states of Illinois, Indiana, Kentucky, Michigan, Ohio and Wisconsin are eligible to apply.
