2 Battery Incidents Reported at Hinsdale Hospital: Police Blotter
Hinsdale police reports, Sept. 17-26
Two separate incidents of battery were reported late last week at Hinsdale Hospital, according to police.
In the first incident, a female patient reported unlawful physical contact was made to her while she was receiving treatment at the facility, according to a police report. The patient said the incident occurred on either Sept. 25 or Sept. 26 during a medical procedure.
In the second incident, a female accused a hospital staff member of making unlawful physical contact with her by grabbing her arm and taking her phone from her, police said. The incident occurred at 4:50 a.m. Sept. 26 while the female was visiting a patient at the hospital. Police were called for assistance to remove the female from the patient treatment room, according to a report.
A case is pending in both incidents.

iPad Stolen From Shopping Cart
Someone stole a female's iPad while she was shopping at a store on the 500 block of East Ogden Avenue. The incident occurred sometime between 3:15 p.m. and 4 p.m., according to police. The female had the iPad in her shopping cart and was unsure if the theft happened in the store or in the parking lot. A case is pending.TUESDAY, SEPT. 17
Identity Theft
