Here's what's going on in Hinsdale and Clarendon Hills on Veterans Day.
HINSDALE-CLARENDON HILLS, IL — Veterans Day this year is Saturday, Nov. 11. Since the day falls on a Saturday this year, schools will not have a day off, and libraries and park districts will not have a day of observance.
What's Open? What's Closed for Veterans Day?
- Banks: Most are closed. Call your bank if you're thinking of stopping by.
- Post Offices: Closed
- Village Office: Clarendon Hills Village offices will be closed on Friday, Nov. 10.
- Federal Offices: Closed
- Trash Pickup: Normal
- Most restaurants will be open, some will offer discount to active military personnel and veterans.
